A true McVERDI love story:
When it’s all 100% achieved!

Dear blog, dear readers, and dear Google,
Today, I want to share a personal story with you, a love story for a brand that truly holds a special place in my heart: McVERDI and a love story for details. Read along as I take you on a journey through my enthusiasm for this beautiful piece of Danish design. I have been employed with the company for over 6 years and unfortunately had to leave due to a move to Aarhus. After a hiatus, I have now returned to help for a limited period, and it has truly been an eye-opening experience. Or let’s call it a refreshing experience.

Photoshoot – 1, 2, 3 Action

It all started with a day on a photoshoot with my colleague Julie. It wasn’t just a day of a lot of filming and big smiles, but a day where I was truly reminded of why McVERDI clothing is so unique.

We were in the process of hanging the clothes neatly, ready for the big photoshoot day. That’s when it happened. While I carefully hung dresses and pants, I began to notice all the small details that make McVERDI clothing 100% achieved and 100% delightful.

All the details

First and foremost, there were the buttons. Beautiful buttons that added a touch of personality to each piece of clothing. Fabric-covered buttons, materials that echoed throughout the collection. Cool buttons that gave the clothing an edge. I couldn’t help but think of the beautiful finesse chosen in every button, and each button designed or selected specifically for McVERDI. The buttons and the clothing are meant to go hand in hand because they complement each other, a perfect design match.

Then my gaze fell upon the zipper – a seemingly simple detail, yet nonetheless important. I noticed that the deep cobalt blue colour of the zipper matched perfectly with the stripes on the pants. Another beautiful detail.

But that wasn’t all. As I studied a dress more closely, I discovered an incredibly beautiful lining hidden inside. It was like finding an extra layer of beauty that is only revealed when you put on the clothing. This additional layer of beauty made me immediately want to hang my McVERDI dresses inside out and just enjoy the sight in my wardrobe. It was a clear example of how McVERDI goes beyond the visible to ensure that a beautiful piece of Danish design extends to every single centimeter of their clothing.

Pride & Love

McVERDI manages to design and create clothing where attention to detail goes beyond the ordinary. I can feel the pride and love behind every stitch, telling a story of a designer who refuses to compromise on quality and good Danish craftsmanship. I have witnessed the process from the inside out, which has given me a respect and love for McVERDI every day. I have been allowed to be very close to the design process, and that allows me to feel the story behind every piece of clothing—the story of a dedicated team committed to delivering beautiful products and good experiences they themselves are proud of. I hope you can feel it too?

Beautiful details = A good investment

When I hang up my McVERDI clothing, it’s like hanging small pieces of art in my closet. I feel connected to a story, a culture, and at the same time, I’m dressed in something incredibly unique. There aren’t many pieces of each McVERDI design. So here I am in Aarhus, surrounded by my beloved McVERDI clothes, and I can’t help but smile. It’s more than just clothing; it’s truly an investment in quality, beauty, and Danish design.
