Snowflakes, Bonfires, and Christmas Market Fun

On a cold December day, while the snow still lay like a magical blanket over North Zealand, Nønne and Julie from the McVERDI webshop team set out to visit the coziest Christmas market in Gurre. We dreamed of getting a bit of genuine Christmas spirit, and it’s safe to say that we got it 100% fulfilled!

Dressed in our warm and luxurious unique shearling vests and coats, we discovered elf gifts, fun Christmas decorations, and the most beautiful Christmas trees for our stores in Ålsgårde and Østerbro. So come along with us and see what a fun and cozy afternoon we had together – full of snow, treats, and genuine Christmas joy.

It has become a steadfast tradition every year for many joyful visitors to find their way to Gurre’s Christmas market. There are the coziest Christmas stalls every weekend throughout December, where you can warm up with mulled wine and Christmas treats

Unique Shearling Coats and Vests

“t has become a December tradition at McVerdi for the designer and founder, Lotte Honoré, to craft an exclusive and entirely unique batch of shearling coats and vests for our store in Ålsgårde.

The wonderfully beautiful green shearling coat that Nønne is showcasing below is tailored in the McVERDI style, ensuring plenty of shearling. Lotte has crafted it in an A-line silhouette with a large fluffy collar. The coats and vests are available in size 1 and 2 – so come by our store in Ålsgårde and wrap yourself up for the softest sensation. We have several colors hanging in the store. As a special experience, Lotte offers to customize the closure on your coat or vest to fit you perfectly.

We found the most beautiful Advent wreaths, Christmas trinkets, trees, and treats for the palate… And the very best part was the sweet horses and pigs, which are a big attraction for all the children visiting the Christmas market. Especially Rudolf, whom Nønne was very enamored with ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We rounded off our Christmas trip with a walk in the Christmas tree forest to choose the trees we would use to decorate in front of our stores in Ålsgårde and Østerbro. Remember, we are open in our stores until December 23rd at 5:30 PM, so you still have time to get the last gifts under the tree. After a super cozy afternoon in Gurre, we headed back home to McVERDI in Ålsgårde with our bellies full of treats and the McVERDI car full of Christmas goodies.
