The skirt is really cool and you can easily create some super cool bohemian inspired outfits. You can go all in on boheme with layering, a big belt, and a pair of leather sandals. There is a bit of a patchwork vibe to the skirt, and the patchwork look is intentionally enhanced by several vertical panels on the skirt, causing the color blocks to shift. The length of the skirt, the large patch pockets, and the many colors incorporated make it fun to style. It has a solid top in double material with a bit of elastic at the back and a zipper in the middle back. It fits really well around the hips. Along the top seam, it has gathers, giving you the feeling of all the lovely fabric around your legs as you walk. I definitely think this skirt has the potential to become a favorite for many!
The fabric
The skirt is made in a light and airy summer quality in 100% linen. The quality is crepe and has a beautiful structure. The color and stripe combination is developed and designed specifically for McVERDI. When our Italian textile designer develops for us, we often receive color samples that are woven together in a large piece of fabric. Normally, the intention is for us to choose one or two different stripes to continue with from this “blanket”. But often we fall in love with the complete expression – and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. The result is this unique and beautiful piece of fabric, available in two color stories. The quality is extremely luxurious to wear and linen is generally very nice to wear in the summer because it has a tempering effect. Linen is a natural fiber and has many good properties. Linen tends to wrinkle, but here it won’t be a problem because the material is already crepe. You can skip ironing and simply wash your skirt gently in the washing machine and hang it on a hanger to dry.

The skirt is based on a MATHILDE CLASSIC. It has a full length of 80 cm in size medium.
The Mathilde skirt
Our Mathilde skirt is a part of our CLASSIC selection. A rather beautiful skirt that fits around the waist and hips, but otherwise has lots of width. The length of the popular skirt changes from style to style and sometimes the skirt has elastic along the waist. Likewise, details, pockets, lining/non-lining and so on vary from design to design. The height of the waistband varies from skirt to skirt. Below, however, you can find the basic measurements of a Mathilde skirt.
