The shirt features an oversized kimono-inspired cut, meant to fit very loosely. The sleeve is a kimono sleeve that falls nicely over the shoulder, creating a short sleeve and a cute silhouette. The shirt also has a kimono collar. The randomly placed color blocks on the shirt give a fun and playful patchwork vibe. The shirt can be used to create some super cool bohemian-inspired looks. The many colors in the shirt make it easy to style with solid linen and other solid-colored styles in your wardrobe.
The fabric
The shirt is made in a light and airy summer quality in 100% linen. The quality is crepe and has a beautiful texture, very bohemian. The color and stripe combination is developed and designed specifically for McVERDI. When our Italian textile designer develops for us, we often receive color samples woven together in a large piece of fabric. Normally, the intention is for us to choose one or two different stripes to proceed with from this “blanket”. But often we fall in love with the complete expression – and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. The result is this unique and beautiful piece of fabric, available in two color stories. The quality is extremely luxurious to wear and linen is generally very nice to wear in the summer, as it has a tempering effect. Linen is a natural fiber and has many good properties. Linen tends to wrinkle, but here it won’t be a problem because the material is already crepe. You can skip ironing and simply wash your shirt gently in the washing machine and hang it on a hanger to dry.
The silhouette and fit
The shirt has an OVERSIZE silhouette and therefore comes in 4 sizes. You should choose size 1 if you are xs/s. Size 2 if you are m/l. Size 3 if you are XL/2XL and size 4 if you are 3XL. The shirt has a full length of 60 cm in size 2.
