Here I am sure that you will get the feeling of pulling a dress over your head and just knowing that it will hang on you all summer. There are definitely good chances that this simple dress in the fine small checked linen could become a new favorite. The dress is quite simple in its silhouette – it has a good length, a sweet fit, and a nice and flattering V-neckline. It has a wide hem at the bottom, which adds a sweet detail – both because it is in double fabric, but also because it contributes to the patchwork feeling by shifting the color blocks. The dress is short-sleeved and has a slight gathering in the back. It naturally has pockets on the sides. All in all, a great favorite dress with a good dose of bohemian romance.
The fabric
The dress is made in a light and airy summer quality in 100% linen. The quality is crepe and has a beautiful structure. The color and stripe combination is developed and designed specifically for McVERDI. When our Italian textile designer develops for us, we often receive color samples that are woven together in a large piece of fabric. Normally, the intention is for us to choose one or two different stripes to proceed with from this “blanket”. But often we fall in love with the complete expression – and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. The result is this unique and beautiful piece of fabric, available in two color stories. The quality is extremely luxurious to wear and linen is generally very nice to wear in the summer because it has a tempering effect. Linen is a natural fiber and has many good properties. Linen tends to wrinkle, but here it won’t be a problem because the material is already crepe. You can skip ironing and simply wash your dress gently in the washing machine and hang it on a hanger to dry.
The silhouette and fit
This tunic dress has a fitted loose silhouette and should therefore fit loosely. In size medium, it has a full length of 105 cm.
