This blue summer dress is brand new in our collection and has a really cute look. Like the other styles in this material, the dress is very bohemian and makes you feel both elegant and relaxed when wearing it. The dress has a very flattering round neckline that sits nicely around the shoulders and gives the dress a petite look, even though it is loose and has ruching. Since the fabric is crinkled and the dress has ruching, it does not appear see-through. However, the quality is quite light and airy, so it can be worn with a light slip underneath if desired. The dress has pockets on the sides and a 3/4 sleeve that can be rolled up for a more casual look. Overall, a really nice summer dress with a simple, flattering cut.
The fabric
The summer dress is made in a light and airy summer quality in 100% linen. The quality is crepe and has a beautiful structure. The color and stripe combination is developed and designed specifically for McVERDI. When our Italian textile designer develops for us, we often receive color samples that are woven together in a large piece of fabric. Usually, the intention is for us to choose one or two different stripes to proceed with from this “blanket”. But often we fall in love with the complete expression – and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. The result is this unique and beautiful piece of fabric, available in two color stories. The quality is extremely luxurious to wear and linen is generally very nice to wear in the summer because it has a tempering effect. Linen is a natural fiber and has many good properties. Linen tends to wrinkle normally, but here it won’t be a problem because the material is already crepe. You can skip ironing and simply wash your summer dress gently in the washing machine and hang it on a hanger to dry.
The silhouette and fit
The summer dress in size medium has a full length of 105 cm. It has a loose fit and therefore sits loosely.
