Cute summer top with cut and ruching. The summer top has a patchwork inspired look with its different colored panels. The patchwork look is intentionally enhanced by vertical cuts on the top’s skirt, causing the color panels to shift. The top has no sleeves, but the shoulder seams extend slightly beyond the shoulder, creating a small cap sleeve. The top is made with double material in the upper part.
The fabric
The top is made in a light and airy summer quality in 100% linen. The quality is crepe and has a beautiful structure. The color and stripe combination is developed and designed specifically for McVERDI. When our Italian textile designer develops for us, we often receive color samples that are woven together in a large piece of fabric. Normally, the intention is for us to choose one or two different stripes to proceed with from this “blanket”. But often we fall in love with the complete expression – and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. The result is this unique and beautiful piece of fabric, available in two color stories. The quality is extremely luxurious to wear and linen is generally very nice to wear in the summer because it has a tempering effect. Linen is a natural fiber and has many good properties. Linen usually tends to wrinkle, but here it won’t be a problem because the material is already crepe. You can skip ironing and simply wash your top gently in the washing machine and hang it on a hanger to dry.
The silhouette and fit
The fine summer top has a full length of 65 cm in size medium and has a FITTED LOOSE fit. It should sit loosely around the bust.
