This coat has a very popular silhouette – it fits nicely while also being lined with thinsulate, making it super warm. The coat is lightweight and cozy with its soft outer fabric. It has a large hood that can be worn as a collar when not in use. The asymmetrical front zipper has a clever detail as it can be opened both ways. If you zip it up from the bottom, for example, you can have better freedom of movement, especially for cycling. It also looks stylish to use the double zipper to create “silhouette lines”. If you need to quickly leave the house, the coat has a few snap buttons that can be used for quick closure at the top. It also has a snap button on the hood to securely close it around the neck. The coat has side seam pockets and an inner pocket with a button closure. The princess cut of the coat suits many. Truly a lovely winter coat.
The fabric
The outer material chosen for the coat has a nice texture and is made of 46% cotton and 54% polyamide. The coat is lined with 3M Thinsulate CS70, which is a microfiber material that effectively warms up the body with its own body heat without adding too much bulk or weight. Thinsulate is also used in skiwear and flight suits, for example. The inner lining of the coat is made of 96% cotton and 4% elastane, along with a smooth 100% acetate satin lining in the sleeves. The outer fabric is produced in Italy, while the coat is sewn in Bulgaria.
The silhouette and fit
The coat is one of our CLASSICS – and is called “Bjørg coat”. The Bjørg coat should fit snugly and has a full length of 100 cm in size medium.
