It’s a great feeling to twirl around in this summer dress and have the sensation of hundreds of butterflies flying around you. The dress is quite “wild” in its design. It is very full-cut, with a clear A-line silhouette and a lot of fabric around you. Nevertheless, it is narrow at the shoulders and the dress is extremely flattering on many. It is a fun and different dress that can also be worn at more formal occasions. You can also style the butterfly dress with a belt for a completely different and very cute look. The dress has pockets on the sides.
The fabric
The Butterfly dress is made of a soft cotton quality produced in Turkey, consisting of 98% cotton and 2% elastane. The quality has a smooth surface and, thanks to the elastane, the dress fits really nicely. Additionally, the quality has a nice weight and drapes beautifully. The dress can be machine washed on a delicate cycle and does not need to be ironed. The print is designed by the multi-artist Signe Kejlbo. The summer dress is sewn in Bulgaria. The dress does not tend to wrinkle and stays very neat.
The silhouette and fit
The dress has a LOOSE A-line silhouette, as it is round-cut all the way from the neckline. However, it is quite narrow at the shoulders and has a “petite” look around the shoulders and sleeves. As it is LOOSE in size, it comes in 4 sizes: Size 1 corresponds to xs/s, 2 to m/l, 3 to XL/2xl, and 4 to 3xl. The butterfly dress measures 120 cm in length in size medium.
