More about the linen dress …
Really lovely summer dress with big checks in linen. A true summer dream. The linen dress is quite cute. It has a slightly round-cut yoke, which gives it a really nice drop to the wrinkled skirt. The combination of the skirt and the petite look around the neckline and the straps creates a really cute summer dress. The silhouette gets kinda Japanese. The dress has (of course) pockets on the sides and automatically you want to put your hands in them when you pull the dress over the head. Then it gets the right look:-) There is a sweet detail at the back, where four big mother of pearl buttons fasten the straps.
Materialet
The linen dress is sewn in 100% linen. The quality is the perfect linen-quality. In other words, does it have the right structure, weave and hardness ( in a good way) as we like it the most. Thereto there are the woven checks, that creates together with the linen thread the Japanese inspired look that we dreamed of. This quality is produced to us by our Italian supplier and woven in Italy and sewn in Bulgaria. Linen is nice to wear in the summertime. It feels tempering so it is really nice to wear on the hot days. We recommend that you wash it at a delicate/hand wash program in the machine, max. 30 C. Linen wrinkles, it’s part of the look, but due to the structure of the material is it not a quality that is suitable for ironing (it can be ironed). We recommend to let it dry on a hanger.
The fitting
The whole dress is round-cut from the sewing over the chest just above the straps. This spencer dress has a bell silhouette, so the dress can sit in different ways. The dress is cute when the yoke is more fitted, but the dress is also really cute when the yoke is loose and swings more around the chest/body. The full length of the dress is 110 cm in the size MEDIUM.
