The pants here are a McVERDI classic and are called “Jane pants”. A lovely and always popular pair of linen cropped pants that are well-fitting and uncomplicated. The linen pants have a wide elastic waistband and pockets. A really good pair of black summer pants that can also be worn layered with a tunic or a dress on top.
The fabric
The pants are made of 100% linen. We love linen because it always has such a beautiful texture and because colors and shades become incredibly beautiful in linen. These pants are made of 100% linen produced in Italy and sewn in Bulgaria. Wash your linen pants with gentle detergent and separately the first few times. Linen wrinkles, that cannot be avoided. It can of course be ironed, but we actually recommend just letting linen be linen and letting your pants dry on a hanger after washing.
The silhouette and fit
The pants have a Jane fit. The pants are meant to sit at the waist and have a full length of 90 cm in size medium.

The Jane-trouser fit is a classic in the collections of McVERDI. It has been a part of the “trouser-family” for ages and keeps on being a favourite bestseller! Through the years it has been seen in many kinds of fabric – but most “famous” must be the linen version!
Below you will find the base measurement of the Jane trousers, but the feeling and design of the trousers will vary from style to style and from fabric to fabric. There can be more width, details will be different and so on.. but the base is the same 🙂
