More info about the black anorak…
The design is simple and without to many unnecessary details. It is an anorak, which are timeless, warm, practical and nice looking – and it is designed for both boys and girls. MiniMcverdi is a relaunch of a number of popular children’s style, which we (McVERDI) produced back in the 1990’s. The designs and combination of fabrics are exactly the same as back then and still completely up to date. The outer fabric is the same fabric we use for our popular rain coat for women and is ideal for children’s wear because it lasts a long time and can be inherited from sibling to sibling. It is lined with warm microfibre insulation and inside the anorak has characteristic printed lining, which has a smooth surface that makes it easy to take on and off – a true favourite if the school break is short and you need to get to the playground in a hurry. Inside the anorak has a strap for quick and easy hanging and a label for writing name and contact details.
The composition of the outer fabric is 85% cotton and 15% polyerethan, which gives the material the rubber-like surface. The fabric is windproof and very water proof and breathable due to the high amount of cotton. The anorak is interlined with Thinsulate CDS70. Thinsulate is a insulation material that has been developed by 3M. The material consists of tiny micro fibers that have the ability to retain your own body heat and keep the moisture and cold outside, plus tempering depending on your body heat and the temperature outside. Thinsulate is very thin and is very light. It is widely used in snowsuits and ski wear – so you definitely keep warm. The anorak is lined with 100% cotton lining. The anorak is very easy to maintain – just remove stains with a damp cloth and air inside out once in a while. The anorak can not be dry cleaned nor washed, but this limited washing opportunities has really never been a problem. If strictly needed you can carefully wash the anorak inside out and with cold water. The children’s wear are produced in Estonia of European materials.
The anorak has a loose fit and we always recommend to choose the actual age of the child – then it should fit and have room for growing
