The fabric
The beautiful checkered fabric is made of 47% flax (a type of linen), 33% cotton, 13% polyester, 3% nylon, 2% alternative fibers. The fabric has a very nice coarse weave, but feels soft. The color play is very fine and each yarn is clearly visible, giving the fabric an uneven color in each color field. Wash your skirt carefully on a hand wash program and finally with cold water. Let your skirt dry on a hanger. The fabric is from Italy, while the skirt is sewn in Bulgaria.
