I am first and foremost a skirt. Nevertheles do you maybe know the feeling, when you try on a long skirt and pull it up over the bosom and discover that it is the sweetest dress? That was the experience my designers had when they sewed me up and tried me. Therefore, I come with two removable straps and have elastic at the waist, so my fit is flexible. For many (but probably not everyone) I will be able to be used as both a skirt and a dress – and it’s fun! If in doubt, choose your size based on how you most likely will us me.
The fabric
The skirt/strap dress is sewn in a light and comfortable linen quality with printed floral pattern. The quality consists of 100% linen, which is really nice to wear in the summer. Linen tends to curl – you have to learn to love that, but the flower print and the ease of the fabric really makes the curls not seem like an issue with this skirt. Wash it gently in the machine – cold water. Allow the skirt to dry on a hanger. Danish designed print by Charlotte van Hauen (@farvesansen). The fabric is printed and produced in Turkey while the skirt is sewn in Bulgaria.
The silhouette and fit
As a skirt, this style has a Mathilde Silhouette. It has elastic along the waist, so it is flexible, white it should be used as a dress. The full length of the skirt is 85 cm in size medium (as a dress 85 cm + straps).
