A princess dress meets a casual linen dress in this very feminine and romantic summer dress from McVERDI. The dress has a cute silhouette and adorable details like the double skirt and the puffy sleeve. The linen fabric is very light and moves nicely around the body. The fabric is dyed with a characteristic cold dye technic. This technic makes the fabric looks like it has been characterized by many years in the sun, wind and weather. Almost like it has been washed over and over again in salt water. This gives the dress a brocante inspired vibe and you can really style yourself a nice brocente inspired outfit.
The fabric
The dress is sewn in a very special fabric with a composition of 96% linen, 3% viscose and 1% elasthan. The fabric is dyed using a cold dye technic. The result is the characteristic different shades of colour on the fabric. The colour tones are randomly placed on the fabric and each piece unique. This is a part of the design and what gives the colour the interesting change of colour shade all over the fabric. The dress can be washed gently in the machine on hand wash program using mild washing detergent. Avoid ironing the dress – let it dry on a hanger instead or steam light if necessary. The fabric is produced in Italy – the dress is sewn in Bulgaria.
