A little more info about the long coat…
A long wintercoat with a balloon silhouette in a really pretty autumn colour. The coat has a characteristic silhouette and a nice weight to it, that makes it great to wear. The coat is warm all the way down the legs. The coat is an oversize coat with lots of extra space. Imagine a cold winter evening where you walk in the forest wearing this long warm coat and a pair of cool and warm boots. An amazing winter outfit that we are already looknig forward to wear! The coat has a hood and rib cuffs to keep you warm and cozy even on the coldest winter days. The coat has an assymetric closure with buttons and a zipper underneath to ensure both a cool look and a warm coat. This winter coat has big sewn on pockets and thinsulate lining.
The fabric
The outer fabric of the coat consists of 70% cotton and 30% polyamid (polyester). The high content of cotton makes the winter coat breathable and the outer fabric also has a coating that makes it wind and water proof. The outer fabric is light and it soft to the touch. The coat is lined with Thinsulate CSD100. Thinsulate is an isolating material (an interlining), that has been developed by 3M. The material is composed of small fibers that hold on to yourbody heat and keep the cold and moisture out. Th microfibers both reacts to your body temperature and the temperature outside. Thinsulate is very thin and light and it is often used in snowsuits and skiwear. The inside of the coat is lined with cotton and a polyester. 50% cotton and 50% polyester. The winter coat can be washed on a washbin porgram but not to often! Only wash when it is strictly neccesary. If you get a dirty spot, you can just add some neutral detergent and let it soak for an hour before rinsing.
The silhouette and fit
This winter coat has an OVERSIZE 1 silhouette, which means that there are meant to be 40-42 cm of extra width around the chest. This is what creates the oversize look. The winter coat has a full length of 120 cm in a size medium. You will experience that you can fit mutliple sizes du to the extra width. If you want the coat to be less oversize we recomend that you choose a size smaller than you usually would, but if you want an oversize look as on the pictures you should choose your normal McVERDI size.
