A little more info about the spencer dress …
An McVERDI collection without a spencer dress is simply unimaginable! The spencer dress from this collection is absolutely amazing and it is probably my (Catherine) favorite dress in the entire collection. This striped blue spencer dress has different sizes of pockets in the front and in the back, which contributes to the dress’ cool “worker look”. The dress has a slight A-silhouette and adjustable straps. Add one of our Liberty shirts under the spencer dress and sneakers and you have a beautiful spring outfit. You can also make a cool “all denim” look with a pair of McVERDi jeans and the jacket from the same program. As always, the entire spring collection can be mixed and matched to create great outfits.
The fabric
This striped spencer dress is sown in a super cool striped denim fabric consisting of 100% cotton. In addition, the material is strong and has a certain heaviness to it. Moreover, you get a dress that is long-lasting and durable.
After this dress is sown it is washed very thoroughly, which processes the material making it lovely and soft.
The denim material is woven in classic narrow stripes. Be aware that this blue version is colored with indigo color and therefore has to be washed separately the first couple of times since there (in spite of pre-wash) can be residual color left in the skirt.
The denim material is from England and has been sown into this very beautiful McVERDI long summer skirt in Bulgaria.
