A woollen sweater for the autumn is an absolute must have in the wardrobe! And this special oversize sweater has been in our earlier collections – so this is a happy reunion with an old classic and welcome back. We are so happy that this sweater is part of hour autumn collection. A checkered wool sweater is practical in the early autumn where it can be used as outerwear and it is a sweater that is easy to bring along in your back. For the cold winter months this sweater provides an extra warm layer under your coat. This oversive sweater has a tall sculpturel collar, long sleeves and lovely big pockets in the front. The checkered sweater almost has an anorak-like feeling. Just the McVERDI trademarks of a great sweater for the autumn and winter months.
The fabric
The sweater consists of 35% wool, 27% polyester, 22% polyacrylic, 11% alpaca wool, 3% polymide, 2% recycled fibers. A material mix which gives the different materials more advantages and makes the sweater nice and warm. The materials are from Italy. The different checks consists of the colours: bottle green, navy, beige and white. Four beautiful colours that create super cool checks. The sweater can’t be washed by hand nor by machine. But that is not a problem, because of the wool’s good qualities. Wool is self-cleaning so it is a good idea to hang the sweater in the bathroom after a shower or hang it outside in humid weather. Then your sweater is as good as new. The sweater is designed in Denmark and is sewn in a family owned bussiness in Bulgary with whom we have been colaborating with for many years.
The silhouette and fit
This wool sweater has an OVERSIZE 1 silhouete and is lovely loose and spacious. The sweater has a full length of 75 cm in a size 2
