A little more info about the wool coat…
A long woollen winter coat in a cool checkered fabric. This coat has a characteristic silhouette and a good weight, which makes it super comfortable to wear and it is warm all the way down the legs. Imagine a cold winter night where you walk in the forest in this beautiful coat with a pair of warm winter boots – a beautiful winter outfit! This McVERDI coat has a big collar, big pockets and it is closed in the front with big black buttons – all details that are super functional and super pretty as well. This coat also works really well with the scarf and hat form the same program.
The fabric
The coat consists of 35% wool, 27% polyester, 22% polyacrylic, 11% alpaca wool, 3% polymide, 2% recycled fibers. A material mix which gives the different materials more advantages and makes the coat nice and warm. The materials are from Italy. The different checks consists of the colours: bottle green, navy, beige and white. Four beautiful colours that create super cool checks. The coat can’t be washed by hand nor by machine. But that is not a problem, because of the wool’s good qualities. Wool is self-cleaning so it is a good idea to hang the coat in the bathroom after a shower or hang it outside in humid weather. Then your coat is as good as new. The coat is designed in Denmark and is sewn in a family owned bussiness in Bulgary with whom we have been colaborating with for many years.
The silhouette and fit
This winter coat has an OVERSIZE 1 silhouette, which means that there are meant to be 40-42 cm of extra width around the chest. This is what creates the oversize look. The winter coat has a full length of 120 cm in a size medium. You will experience that you can fit mutliple sizes du to the extra width. If you want the coat to be less oversize we recomend that you choose a size smaller than you usually would, but if you want an oversize look as on the pictures you should choose your normal McVERDI size.
