More info about the lovely shirt / tunic …
We love multifunctional clothes that you can use indoor, outdoor – as a jacket, tunic or a dress – you name it. It gives multiple options for the styling of this shirt. This one has a beautiful cut, a small collar and you close the shirt with press buttons in the front. It has big pockets which gives the shirt a more casual look. The multicoloured quality that is spun with green, blue, yellow, white and rose shades, makes it fun to style the shirt with solid coloured summer styles because it seems that this shirt matches almost every other colour. It creates elegant at lovely looks. The shirt has at the back a yoke and inverted pleats, which gives it more width. It is such a lovely and useful summer style.
The material
A trip to Japan and a little home brought a piece of vintage fabric. This was what started the whole development- and design process of this wonderful fabric. We just brought a little piece at an antic-market in Tokyo, but we were in love with the structure and the way the coloured yarns gave it a multicoloured effect. Out of one simple cut did Massimo (our Italian textile designer) find coloured yarns, and developed a selection of colour-combinations which made it very hard to choose. It was this summery green, blue, light pink and white combination, that we fell in love with. The material consists of 97% cotton and 3% polyester. The material is from Italy and the shirt/tunic is sewn in Europa at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria. Wash the shirt/tunic at a delicate/hand wash program in the machine, and afterwards let it dry on a hanger – then it wrinkles less.
The fitting
The shirt is FITTED over the chest, but it is loose afterwards. The full length of the shirt is 100 cm in the size MEDIUM.
