Loose smock blouse with a wrap neck. A really pretty and feminine smock blouse that falls beautifully around your body. The smock blouse has a horizontal cut with small pleat details in the front and in the back. The smock blouse has a wrap inspired neck.
The material
The linen blouse is sewn in 100% strong linen. The smock blouse can be washed on a delicate program in your washing machine. It’s prefered to wash the blouse separately the first couple of times and after that wash it with similar colors.
A good advice we received from the Viking museum in Roskilde is to wet linen clothes before putting them in the washing machine. That makes it easier for the machine to watch the fabric and ensures that no area is left out of the washing.
Linen wrinkles and that is part of the charms. It’s part of the unique material and how it expresses itself. The blouse can be ironed after being washed, but we recommend to just let the smock blouse dry on a hanger and avoid to iron it.
If you choose a black blouse the colour will become less intense as time passes. This will give the smock blouse a new cool look, but if you prefer a midnight dark blouse you can for example refresh the colour with a black Dylon colour in the washing machine after sometime.
The blouse is designed in Denmark, the linen is produced in Latvia and the blouse is sewn in Bulgaria. Both partners that we have worked with for many years.
Fitting
The smock blouse has a LOOSE silhouette with a loose cut and extra width. The blouse hangs loosely around your body and sways. The blouse has a full length of 68 cm measured in the back in a size medium.
