More info about the striped shirt…
An oversize shirt with stripes. The shirt has a nice little collar and is closed with small mother of pearl buttons down the front. This oversized shirt has stripes and a good length that covers the bottom. The shirt can both be used hanging loose or it can be worn with some of the shirt tucked into the lining of your trousers or a skirt for another new and interesting look. To obtain a more casual look the manchettes can be rolled up to create a relaxed look. This lovely oversize shirt is a good basic shirt and an asset to every wardrobe. The fabric of the shirt has a striped colour combination with a background colour of dark navy blue and stripes in brown and a burnt curry colour. The design title of this amazing fabric is “Striped blue and gold” due to the golden character of the curry coloured stripes on the navy background. A truly unique piece of fabric. It is a really nice colour combination, which is good for every-day-use but also for more special occasions. Maybe it is this year’s Christmas shirt? With a pair of cool trousers or a small skirt, will this shirt be perfect for Christmas.
The material
This beautiful striped material is classic and has the McVERDI quality to it. The material is light and soft but still has the wintry McVERDI structure that we know and love. The material is crispy and very appealing. The weaving is exceptionally beautiful. This material consists of a lovely mix of 79% cotton and 21% linen. Wash the shirt at max 30 degrees in the washing machine and expect it to shrink 2-3%. Wash with similar colours. Let the shirt dry on a hanger for a nice and fresh look. The shirt is designed in Denmark, the material is produced in Italy and it is sewn in Bulgaria. We have worked with both of our partners for many years.
Fitting
This shirt has an OVERSIZE 1 silhouette which means that the short is supposed to hang loose and sway around your body when you walk. If your are looking for a shirt that fits a little more closer you can eventually go one or two sizes down. The shirt has a full length of 71 cm in a size medium.
