The raincoats are a permanent and completely indispensable part of a McVERDI winter collection. The jacket is perfect for North European weather – it is windproof, waterproof and lined with a nice wool fabric. When living in Northen Europe the jacket can be used almost all year round and is perfect for biking and walking in cold autumn weather. The jacket lasts for many years, the design is classic and timeless. It quickly grows to be an important part of a wardrobe. The jacket has pressbuttons and a tunnel with an elastic at the back piece. The width of the back can be adjusted between the lining and the outer fabric. The rainjacket is perfect for long walks in the forrest during the Christmas holidays, and the city walks for Christmas shopping. Of course we hope for a white Christmas this year, but unfortunately it is all too often rainier than it is white, and then this warm rain jacket is just perfect for the more wet weather!
The material
The outer fabric is made of 85% Cotton and 15% polyerethan, which gives the fabric the ‘rubber’-surface. The rubber-surface is what makes the outer fabric windproof and waterproof, while the cotton makes the coats breathable. The lining is made of 80% wool and 20% polyamid. The coats is easy to maintain – just use a damp cloth to remove stains. The coats can not be drycleaned and we recommend to avoid washing as long as possible. After wearing for a couple of years it is possible to wash it gently in the machine (30 degrees) – but please wash only when it is strictly needed.
Fitting
The jacket has a LOOSE fit. In size medium, the jacket has a chest width of 128 cm of which 26-30 cm is meant for room for movement. In medium, it has a full length of 82 cm.
